Columnist Cohen, writing in The New York Times, October 7, pointed out: "It is 67 years since the United Nations called for the establishment of two states, one Jewish, one Arab, in Mandate Palestine; 47 years since the Israeli occupation began...."

LPR here reminds Roger Cohen that it is also 67 years since the Arabs rejected the UN plan, more than 66 years since the Arabs invaded Israel for purpose of wiping her off the map, and thereafter maintaining a state of war against Israel (ended only with respect to Egypt and Jordan) and unto this day Hamas is committed to obliterating the Jewish State, and asking for media assistance in this endeavor.
